How to do a gel manicure correctly?

1. Before starting the procedure, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client’s hands using an antiseptic liquid and properly prepare the workstation.
2. Using a file with an appropriate grit, shape the nails as desired, gently mattify the nail plate with a buffer block, and if needed, work on the cuticles.
3. Wipe the nail plate with a cotton pad soaked in cleaner. Additionally, a primer can be used.
4. Apply a thin layer of gel base coat and cure for 30 sec in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp.
5. On the cured base, apply the gel polish in the chosen colour and cure for 30 sec in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp. The step can be repeated to achieve a more intense colour.
6. Then apply a thin layer of top coat and cure for 30 sec in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp. Depending on the type of top coat, it may be necessary to wipe with cleaner.
7. For better care, we recommend applying cuticle oil around the nails.
