How to correctly do a gel manicure?

1. Before starting the treatment, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client’s hands with an antiseptic liquid and properly prepare the workstation.
2. Using a file with the appropriate grit, shape the nails as desired, gently mattify the nail plate with a buffer block, and, if necessary, work on the cuticles.
3. Wipe the nail plate with a pad soaked in cleaner. Optionally, you can also use a primer.
4. Apply a thin layer of gel base and cure for 30 sec. in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp.
5. Apply the gel polish in the chosen colour over the cured base and cure for 30 sec. in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp. Repeat if needed to achieve a more intense colour.
6. Then apply a thin layer of top coat and cure for 30 sec. in an LED lamp or 2 min in a UV lamp. Depending on the type of top coat, it may be necessary to wipe with cleaner.
7. For better care, we recommend applying cuticle oil around the nails.
