The device uses 254 nm UV-C radiation to destroy vegetative forms of micro-organisms. It is a dry disinfection method (with UV-C) without the use of chemical solutions.
The tools need to be washed and dried. The parts of the tools should be as open and disassembled as possible so that the UV light covers the entire surface.
